一晃眼多年過去，愛蓮娜（瑪格麗塔·馬祖可 Margherita Mazzucco 飾）和莉拉（蓋婭·吉拉切 Gaia Girace 飾）都長大成人。莉拉嫁給了斯特凡諾（喬萬尼·阿穆拉 Giovanni Amura 飾）開始了并不幸福的婚后生活，而愛蓮娜則進入大學，前往比薩繼續(xù)深造。 在海邊度假時，兩個女孩同她們的童年玩伴尼諾（弗朗西斯·塞爾皮科 Francesco Serpico 飾）重逢了，愛蓮娜依然無法抗拒尼諾所散發(fā)出來的魅力，而尼諾似乎對莉拉更加的感興趣。果不其然，尼諾和莉拉走到了一起。愛尼諾至深的莉拉決定離開斯特凡諾，和尼諾私奔，但眼前的這個男人，真的要比斯特凡諾更加優(yōu)秀嗎？當莉拉的腹中懷上了孩子后，尼諾選擇了離開她，無家可歸的莉拉不得不再次向斯特凡諾低頭。
